In 2011 I completed these events to secure my title as Rock Legend!

Event: LA Half
Month: October
Note: Hometown event.
Status: Ran the inaugural event in 2010. I liked running the new course a lot better.
Event: San Antonio Half

Status: It was a VIP race experience and a trip I’ll treasure forever!
Event: Las Vegas Half
Month: December

Status: A great race to end to a great year of running, although the event was somewhat controversial….
Event: New Year’s Eve Half
Month: December

Status: Actually, it is postponed until 2012. Because of this, I thought I wasn’t going to make Rock Legend. I contacted Competitor Group and they made it possible for me to do San Antonio instead!

Pingback: Rock Legend is Saved! | HEAVY MEDAL
I’m in the LA area too! I had been contemplating the New Years run so that I could get some heavy medal. (I only did the half relay in San Diego after an injury. And then Vegas so I barely missed one this year.) But with the cancellation that idea went out the window. I’m interested to see how Pasadena goes being an inaugural race. But I couldn’t pass it up since it is only 45 minute drive for me.
I just ran Arizona this weekend (my first RnR), and it was really a great race! I’m hoping to do at least one more RnR event this year.
That’s fantastic! How did you do? Wasn’t the weather just wonderful? There are a lot of good RNR events to pick from. I’m getting excited for Pasadena half next month!
The weather was so great! Coming from a colder place, I really appreciated patio dining this weekend. I see from your home page that you were a cheerleader! I did much better than I thought I was going to, and I managed to PR which was really exciting! Looking forward to hearing how Pasadena goes!
